Charity is a Caseworker at Reiss Edwards.
Charity has a wealth of experience in immigration and family law having worked with solicitors and barristers for over 13 years in achieving a positive outcome of her clients. Her career begun at a small firm in South East London where she received her initial training in Immigration law and Family law. Immigration law continues to be a strong passion of hers.
In 2013 Charity graduated with an LLB Law Degree from the University of London (Birkbeck) whilst continuing to work in the legal sector. She joined a firm of Solicitors situated in North London where she expanded her knowledge in dealing with complex Human Rights cases on a larger scale. Her work included, appeals, deportation, domestic violence, judicial review and administrative review cases on a daily basis.
Charity has also attended appeal hearings on behalf of her previous firm to assist Advocates in delivering detailed arguments in difficult and complicated immigration cases. She has an in-depth knowledge of the Tribunal's Procedural Rules as well as preparing appeal bundles to aid the Judge in understanding the reasons why an appeal should be in favour of the appellant.
Charity is currently enrolled on a Graduate Fast Track Diploma and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.
Charity joined Reiss Edwards as a Caseworker where she is utilising her extensive knowledge in personal immigration cases as well as continuing to expand her knowledge in Points Based System application including in Tier 1 (Investor), Tier 1 (Entrepreneur), Tier 2 and Sponsor License applications as part of a strong legal team.
Charity is proud of her results whilst delivering excellent service on behalf of clients. She enjoys liaising with clients and providing them a platform to understand the case strategy and for them to therefore make fully informed decisions in regards to their case.
Charity also enjoys outdoor running, tennis and keeping fit.
