Specialises in corporate immigration including Tier 1 Entrepreneur visa and sponsor licence application. He graduated with a 1st Class LLB Honours and is regulated with the OISC at the highest level (Level 3). He successfully completed a Bar Vocational Course (very competent) and has been admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales.
Amar is the Owner, Director and Senior Associate at Reiss Edwards since its inception on 10 April 2014. He acquired OISC regulation for the firm in August 2014 and has continued to manage the firm’s operation and employees. He is an authorised supervisor with the OISC having been approved to oversee the work of trainee advisors.
Amar has been regulated with the OISC at the highest level since approximately 2007. He has represented clients before the First Tier and Upper Tier Tribunal and has been a supervising lawyer from 2010 at various boutique law firms. He has developed a strong immigration practice with current focus on the Points Based System, the Immigration Rules and the European Regulations 2006. He has also worked with an OISC firm specialising in Asylum.
Amar has maintained throughout his OISC Level 3 registration.
Amar completed his law degree with a First Class Honours and the Bar Vocational Course with a Very Competent score. He went on to cross qualify as a solicitor in July 2013. Amar was first admitted to the roll on 15th October 2013 but did not continue to practice with the SRA as he continued his regulation with the OISC. However, he has been the most senior person when working for Immigration Advisory Services UK Ltd and at Reiss Edwards, where he has been Director and Senior Associate. He therefore has extensive immigration experience throughout the numerous fields in Immigration Law as well as extensive experience in Supervisory and Managerial roles.
