Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer Visa UK

The Tier 2 ICT Visa is designed for individuals who work with multi-national companies, who have also been transferred to the UK branch.

Refusals are challenged by a request for an administrative Review to the Entry clearance Manager (ECM). If the decision is held you can proceed with a judicial review.

There are three sub categories under the Tier 2 ICT

  1. Long Term staff: - Skilled workers scheduled to enter the UK for longer than 12 months.
  2. Short term staff: - Skilled workers who are scheduled to enter the UK for 12 months or less
  3. Graduate trainee: - Transfers for recent graduate who are part of a company's structure

Skills transfer

To transfer skill and knowledge from a branch to the UK and vice versa.

Entry Clearance

You will need to be an employee and must have obtained a valid CoS.

Switching

You will be able to extend your leave to remain as a Tier 2 ICT migrant at the expiration of your initial leave provided that you still required on that job.

Settlement

Since 2010, it is no longer possible to apply for Indefinite leave tor remain under the Tier 2 ICT route.
