Younes is one of the Senior Associates at Reiss Edwards and an immigration solicitor. Known by clients and colleagues alike as being meticulous, with an eye for legal detail and ability to deal with complex legal issues with pragmatic legal and practical solutions, he has been a practitioner of immigration law since October 2012 and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors on 15 April 2015.

He graduated from the London School of Economics, University of London, having obtained an LLB with Honours in Law. After a hiatus, he undertook the Legal Practice course at BPP. His legal career began with work experience at Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre before joining Duncan Lewis Solicitors, the multi award-winning legal aid practice, in October 2012. He was one of the first paralegals to have been awarded Level 2 IAAS as a Senior Caseworker at Duncan Lewis within three months of joining the firm. Whilst at Duncan Lewis, he was an active member of the Pro Bono Committee that received national recognition, culminating in a number of award nominations, including being awarded the Law Works Pro Bono Award for Best Contribution by a Firm with a London Head Office.

Younes has represented a wide range of clients with complex cases from around the UK and the world, including High Net Worth individuals and companies. His Points Based Immigration (‘PBS’) experience includes advising on Skilled worker visa Formally know as Tier 2, Tier 1 and Sponsorship licences. With regard to personal immigration, he has dealt with all aspects of family member applications, EEA and Post-Brexit applications and more niche areas such as Returning Resident visas. As well as immigration work, Younes represents clients in appeals to the First Tier Tribunal and Judicial Reviews.

Outside of work, Younes enjoys keeping active, playing football for several teams. He also enjoys visiting galleries and museums, engaging and thought-provoking films and travelling.
