Anna Foley joined Reiss Edwards as immigration solicitor in 2018 as an Associate. She specialises in a wide range of areas within the immigration laws and has a mixed background of having worked in the public and private sector, giving her a unique exposure to a variety of immigration applications.
Anna currently has a particular focus on entry clearance and leave to remain applications for spouse visas, fiancé(e) visas, naturalisation, indefinite leave to remain, registration of British children and applications in accordance with the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2016. She has built an excellent working knowledge of the Points Based System whilst at Reiss Edwards, handling Tier 2 and Tier 1 visa applications, working on some of our key accounts.
Prior to joining Reiss Edwards, Anna worked for a leading Legal Aid firm, successfully obtaining positive results for client’s seeking protection of their human rights and securing their release from immigration detention.
Anna is recognised by her peers and clients as having exemplary attention to detail, picking up on all issues and facts when preparing applications for her clients.
Anna has a detailed understanding of the Immigration Rules in relation to victims of domestic violence and assisting vulnerable members of society such as victims of trafficking. She has also represented clients before the First-tier Tribunal as lead advocate.
