Spouse Out-of-Country

Our immigration solicitors were instructed on a Spouse visa from overseas. The client's sponsor was British and working as a self-employed individual and earns over £18,600 net.

We needed to find out how both partners have been communicating as well as if and how they see each other. We confirmed that the client had just visited her husband recently and is looking to return to Columbia in order to make this application.

In making these kinds of application, you will need to show that your partner can support you, has suitable accommodation and is able to meet the requirements of the immigration rules

Some of the things we showed in the application include: -

  • Evidence of a genuine and subsisting relationship as well as marriage evidence
  • Intention to live on permanently in the UK
  • Evidence of meeting the financial, accommodation and English language requirement

We made a spouse visa application for the client from Columbia and it was successful.

As each case is different, we will advise you of the subjective requirements of your particular application in further detail when issuing you with your list of documents. If at any stage your circumstances change, we'd normally like to know so we can adjust accordingly if there is any need to. Should you need help with making any of these kinds of application, why not talk to us today? Give us a call on 020 3744 2797 or fill the form at the right hand side of this page. We look forward to hear from you.
